Andrew Paris was born and raised in Northeast Portland. From an early age he was interested in Law and Government, considering a career as an attorney as early as middle school.
Andrew attended Gonzaga University, where he studied Political Science, focusing on land use and international politics. While at Gonzaga, he worked in Portland's City Hall on land use and transportation projects. He also spent a summer studying abroad in Florence, Italy.
Upon graduating from Gonzaga, Andrew accepted an offer to attend the University of Oregon School of Law. While at Oregon Law, he developed a strong interest in contracts, real estate law, business law, and international business law. Andrew took a wide variety of property and business law courses, with a special interest in contract litigation and international business law. He also interned with Vestas American Wind Technology and worked as an associate in Oregon Law's Small Business Clinic.
After graduating from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2012, Andrew moved back home to Portland and passed the Oregon State Bar Exam on his first attempt. Since joining the Oregon State Bar, he has been working with a wide variety of businesses and individuals to resolve business and real estate disputes. Andrew has performed a great deal of pro-bono work with Saint Andrew's Legal Clinic and the Lewis and Clark College Small Business Legal Clinic. The Lewis and Clark College Small Business Legal Clinic has awarded Andrew as a "Pro-bono Champion" twice. Andrew is licensed to practice in the State of Oregon and the Federal District of Oregon.
As an attorney, Andrew has specialized in real estate disputes, specifically partition cases, purchase and sale disputes, adverse possession and property line disputes, and commercial landlord/tenant cases. Andrew has represented clients ranging from major commercial developers to individuals. Andrew also handles a wide variety of business/contract disputes, representing businesses and individuals in breach of fiduciary duties cases, sale of securities cases, business sale disputes, and purchase and sale contract cases.
Andrew's interests include hiking, history, travel, local politics, Gonzaga Basketball, and the Portland Trailblazers.
